Kayla is joining ESAC as a much needed 2nd receptionist and we are thrilled!

Kayla King was born in Nebraska, but because of her father’s job, grew up in five different states. At an early age she developed an interest in language arts and spent the majority of her time either buried in a book or scribbling fairy tales in her journal. In high school she participated in her school’s writing club, performing her own personally written pieces in front of a panel of judges and receiving gold at the state competition four consecutive years in a row.
After high school, Kayla moved across the county to study writing at Boise State University. During this time she worked at a well-known concert venue while simultaneously attending class and working towards her degree. She spent her junior year studying overseas in Scotland. There she would go hiking through the highlands, pet and befriend many a highland cow, and enjoy the view of the countryside from atop a castle wall. This is also where she developed her thirst for travel, spending many weekends flying to nearby countries and navigating her way around with nothing but a bus map and a handful of change.

After returning stateside in 2013, she graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s Degree in English writing. Kayla then moved back across the country to Louisville, KY in order to be near family. In her free time she enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, playing with her dog Kili or curled up on the couch with her cat Autumn. She is extremely excited about joining the ESAC family, and looks forward to getting to know all of our four-legged family members!
